Grow your business with online presence
12 July 2010 Having a basic Internet site is essential for business in 2010 so why is it only 35 per cent of businesses have a web presence? Now businesses have the opportunity to learn what they need to do to get online and engage in e-business – for free! The Online Growth Program, developed by NSW Business Chamber, offers small businesses, one-on-one coaching, seminars, information and a diagnostic to identify what opportunities exist for their business online. With a commercial value of $2475, the program is made available to small businesses at no cost through the Australian Government funded Small Business Online Program. Places are limited for the seminars so businesses are advised to visit www.onlinegrowth.com.au where they can check availability of their local seminar and register. “The NSW Business Chamber Online Growth Program is a suite of complementary services that helps businesses create and enhance a new channel to market. Businesses can develop a tailored e-business strategy through one-on-one coaching, and learn what they need to do to have and enhance their web presence. This is an opportunity for local businesses to understand how they can increase their bottom line with no upfront cost,” said Stephen Cartwright, Chief Executive Officer, NSW Business Chamber. Business owners can use the diagnostic tool, find out where they are with their web presence and then attend one of the 23 seminars located throughout NSW. The seminars provide information on how businesses can embrace e-business and offer practical advice such as what works on the Internet, how to attract traffic and search engine optimisation. Armed with the information from the seminar and the website, business owners can engage Online Growth Coaching and learn how to develop and implement an e-business strategy specifically for their business. To sign up for the seminar and for more information visit www.onlinegrowth.com.au or call 13 26 96.
