OHS Workplace Committee / Representatives

Duration: 4 days

Developed in line with the NSW OHS Act 2000 and OHS Regulation 2001, this course is accredited by WorkCover and meets all requirements for OHS Consultation training. It has been designed to help employers meet their requirements for consulting with all employees on OHS issues, systematically managing OHS and undertaking risk management activities for all hazards within the workplace.

This course is designed for OHS committee members and OHS representatives.

Learning Outcomes

• Knowledge of the requirements for consultation

• Skills to effectively communicate in the role of OHS committee members or OHS representatives

• Knowledge and skills to systematically manage OHS

• Skills to undertake risk management activities

• Learn how to ensure continuous improvement in OHS. 

Proof of Identity

Proof of identification must be shown to the trainer before the course commences. Minimum requirements are NSW Drivers Licence or NSW Photo ID less than two years old, plus a Medicare Card and a current Credit Card. 

Award

Participants who successfully complete the course by demonstrating competency during individual and group activities will receive a Statement of Attendance.
