OHS Consultation - Refresher

Duration: 1 Day

This course provides an update to the NSW Workplace Consultation legislation and OHS legislation and will revitalise the consultation skills of the OHS Committee member and/or OHS Representative.

• Identification of OHSMS Issues

• Effective Consultation Strategies

• Measuring OHSMS Performance

Who Should Attend

This training is intended for OHS Committee members & OHS Representatives that have been trained on the accredited OHS Consultation Course or OHS Workplace Committee course two or more years ago.

Learning Outcomes

• Review the OHS Committee/representative roles in effectively implementing an OHS management system (OHSM)

• Evaluation of the current OHSMS and identification and prioritisation of deficiency areas

• Develop & assess basic strategies to enable effective consultation on OHS issues identified

Proof of Identity

Proof of identification must be shown to the trainer before the course commences. Minimum requirements are NSW Drivers Licence or NSW Photo ID less than two years old, plus a Medicare Card and a current Credit Card. 

Award

Participants who successfully complete the course by demonstrating competency during individual and group activities will receive an NSCA Statement of Attendance.
