OHS Legislation in NSW; OHS Management Systems; Duty of Care responsibilities; OHS Risk Management; Employer and employee obligations; Hazard identification; Risk control Hierarchy of Control.

Managers and Supervisors.

Learning Outcomes

• General understanding of OHS Legislation in NSW.

• General understanding OH&S Management System principles including duty of care responsibilities and supervisor and management responsibilities.

• Understanding the principles for implementing OH&S Risk Management, risk assessment processes, hierarchy of control and reviewing OHS performance in the workplace

• Understanding the provisions of Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Legislation in NSW.

Proof of Identity

Proof of identification must be shown to the trainer before the course commences. Minimum requirements are NSW Drivers Licence or NSW Photo ID less than two years old, plus a Medicare Card and a current Credit Card. 

Award

No formal assessments will be undertaken for this course. Students attending this course will be given a Statement of Attendance
