Return to Work Coordination - Introduction
Duration: 2 days
Learn about the return to work process in accordance with the NSW
WorkCover/Workers Compensation requirements.
Topics Covered Include
Overview of the WorkCover/Workers Compensation Scheme, reviewing your
workplace rehabilitation program, the role of the rehabilitation coordinator
and the role of insurers.
Who Should Attend
Human resource management and persons who are nominated as Rehabilitation
Coordinators and those involved in rehabilitation and return to work programs.
Learning Outcomes
• List the main components of the WorkCover/Workers Compensation Scheme
• Identify the key steps in developing a workplace rehabilitation program
• Explain the role of the rehabilitation coordinator
• Be aware of the principles of premium calculation
• Identify the key issues in working with doctors and providers
• Provide basic information regarding worker entitlements
Proof of Identity
Proof of identification must be shown to the trainer before the course
commences. Minimum requirements are NSW Drivers Licence or NSW Photo ID less
than two years old, plus a Medicare Card and a current Credit Card.
Award
Participants who successfully complete the course by demonstrating competency
during individual and group activities will receive a WorkCover Statement of
Attendance
