The NSW Business Chamber is the leading voice of business in NSW. We are committed to improving the business environment in NSW by representing the concerns of business to all levels of government and advocating positive change to drive investment and business growth.
The Chamber believes that it should be easier to do business in NSW and Australia.
We promote the case for business-friendly reforms by advocating constructive solutions by:
meeting in person with government ministers, their staff and senior bureaucrats
providing written submissions to governments
appearing before parliamentary inquiries
extensive use of the media.
To help create debate about and change to the government, regulatory and infrastructure foundations on which growing and employing businesses are created, the Chamber delivers regular ‘thought leadership’ reports, campaigns and events.
The Chamber’s members, through its Councils and policy committees, approve and guide its advocacy agenda. Policy Committees cover the key areas of Business Environment and Economics; Infrastructure; Workplace Health and Safety; Workforce Skills and Workplace Policy.
