WorkCover Workshops
NSW Business Chamber events
The Workcover Workshops are run in conjunction with WorkCover NSW to provide current and up to date workplace safety legislation and information to ensure that Chamber members are complying with national safety standards. These workshops are held eight times per year and cover a variety of topics including Manual Handling, OHS, Bullying in the Workplace, Slips, Trips & Falls and more.

NSW Business Chamber delivers various seminars & workshops on important topics such as Industrial Relations & OHS Legislation.
WHS Seminars
New Work Health and Safety legislation came into force on 1 January 2012 and changed the way health and safety is managed in all workplaces.
The implementation of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 has meant that NSW laws will be harmonised with other jurisdictions in Australia and we will have essentially the same OHS laws nationwide.
To assist businesses with the implementation of the model laws, NSW Business Chamber delivered a series of seminars under the 2010 WorkCover Assist Program in Newcastle, Cardiff and Rutherford in March 2012.
The program raised awareness of the new Work Health and Safety legislation and helped businesses meet their legislative obligations under the new laws.
