Each month, the Policy and Advocacy team reports on its progress and engagement with Government.

Work in Progress (WIP) is designed to keep  members informed, on a monthly basis, of the policy activity of the NSW Business Chamber.

The WIP document covers both proactive and reactive policy activity and details submissions to Government, presentations at events and meetings with key Government and business decision makers.

The WIP also records upcoming policy events or submissions to provide members with the opportunity to get in touch with the NSW Business Chamber Policy team to provide their thoughts issues. Where we have had advocacy success on a policy item, these are recorded in the month they occurred under the headline “wins for business”.

The WIP is the nuts and bolts of policy advocacy. It’s a demonstration to our members of our ongoing efforts in fighting for improvements to the operating environment for NSW businesses.
