How do I search the directory?
There are two search tabs set up to allow you to search the directory – Business Name, Product/Service. You can refine your search using the options: Suburb; State or Postcode.
All words
If you select this option you will only see results which match all the words entered but can be in any order.
Exact Match
If you select this option you will only see results that are an exact match to what you have entered.
Some words
If you select this option you will only see results which match some of the words entered in any order.
How does a listing appear in the directory?
Financial members of the Chamber are entitled to a listing of their company details in the Business Directory. In order for the listing to appear in the search results, the listing must be marked ‘active’ by the member which can be accessed via the ‘edit my profile’ button found in the top navigation bar.
Members of the Chamber will be able to advertise up to three promotions or special offers relating to their business with their listing. Base members will be able to feature their company details only. To upgrade your membership, please call 13 26 96.
How many locations can I list in my business profile?
All locations covered by your membership package are automatically loaded into the Business Directory.
Listings including locations will not appear in the search results until made ‘active’ by the member (go to the ‘edit my profile’ button in the top navigation bar to make your listing active).
It is important that you review your details including locations attached to your listing and either change your details online or call 13 26 96 if there are any discrepancies.
Why has my business listing disappeared from the Business Directory?
Listings appear in search results when the business profile has been made active. Login in to the Business Directory and check that the active box has been ticked. If you are unable to login, please call 13 26 96.
Why can’t I log in to the Business Directory?
If receive the following error message “Your account is no longer active” call 13 26 96.
Why can’t I update certain fields in my business profile?
Fields such as Years as member cannot be edited as this is driven by our customer database.
LISTINGS
I am a member of more than one Chamber listed in the Business Directory, does this mean I am listed twice?
Yes, the number of listings your business is entitled to correspond to the number of Chamber memberships you have.
Why do I have to keep logging into the directory?
The Business Directory times out after 30 minutes. Ensure that you save your updates regularly.
Why can’t I save my listing?
There are mandatory fields required within each listing. These include the ABN and Company Name. You will not be able to save your listing until these fields are populated. Call 13 26 96 if you continue to have difficulties with your listing.
Why can’t I upload my logo image in my listing?
Images files sizes are restricted to 20KB. Refer to your marketing department or printer/graphic agency for assistance with your images.
PROMOTIONS
How many promotions can a member have in their listing?
Members of the Chamber will be able to advertise up to three promotions or special offers relating to their business with their listing. Base members will be able to feature their company details only. To upgrade your membership, please call 13 26 96.
Can I have different promotions for each location?
Yes – each location listed will be able to advertise up to three promotions/special offers.
I don’t have images can I just add text promotions?
Images support your advertised promotions. If you do not have access to images, you can feature your promotion in text only format (refer to User Guide).
Why can’t I upload my promotion image?
Images files sizes are restricted to 20KB. Refer to your marketing department or printer/graphic agency for assistance with your images.
Why can I add more than one promotion when I edit my profile yet I cannot see more than three promotions?
The Business Directory has been set up so that you can swap and change your promotions at any time suited to you. You can set up as many promotions as you like but you can only activate three promotions at one time. To change your promotions, simply deactivate one and reactivate another.
