Defence Events, networking and training
The Australian Business Defence Industry facilitates defence and industry engagement through regular events and workshops for members.
Events provide the opportunity to hear the views of key decision makers and network with guests and other members. Regular workshops provide the opportunity to enhance business skills and improve business success.
Luncheon Briefings
Luncheon briefings provide an opportunity for members of defence industry to be briefed by relevant senior personnel within the Australian Defence and national security environment.
Luncheon briefings are open to both ABDIU members and non-members, with members receiving a substantial discount on attendance. No limit applies to the number of personnel that can attend from any one company.

Roundtables

ABDIU Member Dinner
The ABDIU will introduce a Members-only dinner in the latter part of 2012. The guest speaker will be Senator the Hon David Johnston, Shadow Minister for Defence. Further details will be promulgated shortly.
Workshops/Training
No workshops are currently organised. Discussions are continuing.
ABDIU has been liaising with the Defence Export Control Office (DECO) for the provision of a series of training events associated with export control.
