ABDIU membership is open to any Australian-based organisation which is involved in, or could be involved in, the supply of goods and services to Australian or international defence capabilities. This includes businesses supplying directly to Governments or operating as a part of an industry supply chain.
ABDIU provides a range of membership levels, from Associate through to Corporate members. The membership levels provide a range of benefits depending upon the level of engagement considered appropriate for your business. The membership levels are as follows:
Defence Associate
- Subscription to the Australian Business Defence Update E-news, up to 15 editions per year
- Subscription to the Australian Business Defence Update E-news – Tender Supplement (weekly)
- Access to professional advice of full-time defence specialists for issues contained within the e-news and tender supplement, and
- Access to ABDIU’s regular defence industry functions at membership rates.
Defence Business Affiliate
- As for Defence Associate
- Access to professional advice of full-time defence specialists (limited to an initial and follow-up meeting annually), and
- Access to ADBIU Industry Focus groups.
Defence Contractor
- As for Defence Business Affiliate
- One-on-one business consultations, and
- Consultation and input to the ABDIU regarding Defence policy advocacy.
Defence Corporate
- As for Defence Contractor
- Undertake specialist tasks by negotiation, and
- Invitations to the ABDIU’s Corporate Roundtable events.
