10 Big Ideas

The Illawarra Business Chamber is committed to representing the interests of members by providing a powerful voice to all levels of Government and key decision makers on behalf of the Illawarra region and its business community.
As the leading business organisation in the region, the IBC is actively involved in policy debate on key economic and business issues. IBC aims to foster a business environment in the Illawarra region that is conducive to profitable business growth, sustainable job creation, and sound economic and social progress.
In dealing with issues at a State and Federal level the IBC is also able to join forces with NSW Business Chamber in making representations to those levels of government.

We campaign for a better deal for your business through:
  • Developing policy papers to drive the business reform agenda with the Government and keep you informed of these changes
  • Policies in key areas of business priorities including tax and competitiveness, WHS, workers compensation and business sustainability
  • Submissions on behalf of the business community on the impact of changes to businesses in areas such as workforce skills and workplace relations.
For all Policy Enquiries e: policy@illawarrabusiness.com.au or ph: 4229 4722.
