Interest rate cut clears first hurdle, now for the banks..

The Illawarra Business Chamber, has welcomed the decision of the RBA to cut interest rates by 50 basis points as the right decision given the sluggishness of the economy, and now calls on the banks to pass on the cut in full to their business customers.

WorkCover inquiry must not lead to higher premiums

'Carbon tax could kill us' says Business Survey

With less than 100 days until the introduction of the world’s biggest Carbon Tax, business conditions in the Illawarra are reaching new lows, with major indicators of sales revenue, exports, profits, employment, investment and finance all slumping relative to the previous quarter, according to the NSW Business Chamber – Commonwealth Bank Business Conditions Survey.

New Work Health and Safety Regulations Seminars

The NSW Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2011 came into force 1 January 2012 and changed the way health and safety is managed in all workplaces.
