
Early in 2012 reviews of both modern awards and the Fair Work Act will be undertaken by Fair Work Australia and the Federal Government respectively.
Both these Reviews provide the first opportunity for employers to put forward their consolidated views on how both modern awards and the Fair Work Act are working since they commenced.
How each of these reviews will be undertaken is unknown as yet, but it seems clear to the Chamber that in both instances there will not be a wholesale rewriting of either modern awards or the Fair Work Act.

The Chamber will be making submissions to both reviews on behalf of members.
