Sydney South West region

Welcome to the newest office of the NSW Business Chamber. Having launched in October 2011, the Sydney South West office is committed to servicing all member businesses in the Region.

Our role is to support the growth and development of your business as well as the greater business landscape by lobbying government to create a better workplace for NSW businesses. Additionally, we support other initiatives that promote the growth of our Region.

To assist us in our efforts we offer a number of products and services to businesses in our Region starting with membership to the NSW Business Chamber. This affords us to offer to you:

  • a voice at local, regional, state and federal levels of government and authority, through the lobbying power of the NSW Business Chamber;
  • industrial relations matters, including wage rates, penalties and staff issues;
  •  occupational health & safety compliance;
  • keeping you up-to-date with your workplace obligations via educational seminars and events;
  • business consulting advice through our various speciality divisions including legal, marketing, recruitment and RTO services;
  • international trade assistance;
  • apprenticeship centres.

We are located in Bankstown and service the areas to the North West and South West. This includes the following suburbs and their surrounding areas:
Rhodes, Homebush, Strathfield , Ashfield, Burwood, Drummoyne, Croydon Park ,Regents Park, Bankstown, Fairfield, Villawood, Cabramatta, Liverpool, Warwick Farm, Hoxton Park through to the Macarthur and Wollondilly areas.

Your Regional Advisory Council

The Western Sydney Regional Advisory Council (RAC) initiates and facilitates innovative projects and programs that improve and sustain business performance in the Western Sydney region.

The Council acts as an advisory body to the NSW Business Chamber Council, and the Board of Directors and Management of NSW Business Chamber, championing policy issues for the region, as well as matters relating to membership and the promotion and development of businesses in the region.

Key focal points for the South West Sydney Region


In 2010 the Premier and the Leader of the Opposition, together with the Chief Executive Officer of NSW Business Chamber officially launched the 10 Big Ideas to Grow NSW. The 10 Big Ideas to Grow South West Sydney further gives the South West business community a voice and provides the Government and Opposition with an opportunity to support local solutions to local problems and challenges.
