Judith joined Lendlease in 2002 and has had various roles within the Communities business with a strong focus on economic and social sustainability across the Western Sydney Region on projects such as Jordan springs and Ropes Crossing. Her current role has expended this experience across the Lendlease Communities portfolio in NSW/ACT.
Judith is an active participant in the development and implementation of the Lendlease Reconciliation Action Plan and has driven opportunities for employment and engagement of Indigenous people and organisations within the Communities business.
Prior to Lendlease, Judith worked for 11 years at University of Western Sydney in various roles in business development and research commercialisation. A highlight of this time was participating in the establishment and management of the Cooperative Programs at UWS Nepean which has recently celebrated 20 years as a continuous program lining students to industry.
While at the University of Western Sydney, Judith served a term as the elected staff representative on the Board of Trustees; was a regular member of staff selection and job evaluation review panels; provided support as a staff mentor and participated in several university committees and working parties, providing business expertise.
Her early career included early childhood teaching; retail and marking experience as buyer/senior buyer with the Myer Group; management of a fashion retail chain and operation of her own successful marketing consultancy for six years.
As a resident of Western Sydney for over nearly 40 years, Judith has been active in the region through a number of organisations including Penrith Valley Chamber of Commerce where she was a member of the Executive Committee as Vice President and President; as Vice Chairperson of the Board of Mamre Plains Ltd; as a Board Member of Penrith Business Alliance, and Chair of its Finance and Risk Committee.
Judith is currently an elected member of NSW Business Chamber’s State Council and chairs the Chamber’s Skills Committee. She has also contributed to the broader community through leadership roles on School Councils; P&C Associations; her church and sporting club committees; and through fundraising for school and various community groups.
Judith’s contributions have been acknowledged through nominations and awards including: Finalist in the UWS Woman of the Year; Lifetime Membership of NSW P&C Associated; finalist in the Lendlease Employee Excellence Awards.
Judith is a very proud mother and grandmother and enjoys reading, gardening, travelling, entertaining and volunteering in the community.
