Can the Central Coast take out the coveted NSW Business of the Year Award second year in a row? Last year the Australian Reptile Park took out the prestigious award in front of 1,000 business leaders at Sydney’s Luna Park. We can do it again!

To get started enter the 2019 Central Coast NSW Business Chamber Business Awards here and you could proceed to the prestigious State Business Awards. Entries close Friday 23 of August.

thinkingBIG hailed as the best Central Coast Innovation Summit yet

Nearly 200 leaders from local industry, government and education praised NSW Business Chamber for encouraging the audience to think big on whether being a smart city was the answer to our competitiveness, low rate of infrastructure investment and high unemployment rates.

Excitingly, a plan for progress has emerged out of the Innovation Summit. The first task being NSW Business Chamber Central Coast, Council and the University of Newcastle collaborating to bring high knowledge jobs to the region to reduce the daily 40,000 commuters to Sydney, and offer exciting high tech career paths locally.

The event addressed the skills shortage gap in high knowledge sectors like health and professional services, the impact of changing digital consumption on traditional sectors like retail and education, the transformation of traditional manufacturing, and food production using technology to minimise waste.
