Thanks for your ongoing membership and support of the NSW Business Chamber, whether it be by direct membership, or through our Local Chamber Alliance program.

Over the past few weeks, it has been so exciting to see a number of fantastic campaigns launching to assist drought affected businesses and boost sales in our communities.

Interestingly, some of the most successful campaigns so far are being driven at the grassroots level by people just wanting to help and make a difference.

If you haven’t seen the sites yet, do yourself a favour and check out the links below:

Drought support

Farmers and businesses across our region have received support after the NSW Business Chamber and Racing NSW donated $50,000 to national charity GIVIT.

This donation was raised by over 400 business leaders during our recent ‘Business of Racing’ lunch on the day prior to the 2019 Everest horse race. The funds raised will be used to purchase items locally and provide an economic boost to our communities.

The current drought and its impact on our local economies continues to be a major issue right across the region.

If you and your business needs advice or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. We can connect you with the assistance you need.

The NSW Small Business Commissioner’s office also has released a Drought Support for Small Business factsheet, which connects you with support available.

Energy savings

If you are looking to make savings from your bottom line, the Chamber can help with finding you a better energy deal. We can also provide you with tailored advice on energy through the Business Energy Advice Program (beap), an Australian Government initiative provided by the Chamber.

If you need local help with your energy, please contact Katie Kidd on 02 6311 2201 or katie.kidd@nswbc.com.au.
