It was a night of celebrating business excellence at the prestigious Central Coast Regional Business Awards on Friday 11 October.
From the 150 nominations across the 2019 Central Coast Regional Awards program, it all came down to 12 Regional Category Winners and culminated in the Regional Business of the Year being named as Life Health Foods.
The Berkeley Vale company, employing 130 locals, also took out top accolades for Excellence in Innovation with their plant-based meat product.
Among the other winners, Australian Reptile Park was awarded Excellence in Business for the second year running, while also taking home the Outstanding Young Employee Award for Venom Supervisor – Zac Bower.
Gosford Private Hospital claimed the Excellence in Sustainability Award for their environmental commitments of reducing hospital waste. Gosford Private Hospital CEO, Matt Kelly, was awarded the Business Leader of the Year award.
The awards night, held at Crowne Plaza – Terrigal, was attended by 250 guests and included an impactful opening performance from local drumming group, The Rhythm Hut, performances from the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music and three-piece band LadyLike.
